Is this now a Fokker Thread?

Agreed. Cutaway drawings are the best. By extension, DK is the best book publisher. DK eyewitness books dominated my childhood reading.

Would you happen to have/located a drawing of how the horizontal stabilizers are attached to the tail on a B-29 are structured? This has become relevant to me...

Really now. Don’t know if you saw this.
They appear to have plane’s and rockets too but haven’t really looked yet.

How about this ? It’s a huge file. Also this . The first one is a Tu-4, but the Russians copied it down to the last rivet, even copying the “Boeing” on the rudder pedals.

Trying to figure out how to cantilever mount a horizontal stabilizer is... fun.

Try googling “cantilever horizontal stabilizer.” I’m on my phone, but there might be something there.

I’d consider the F.36 “the mother of all fokkers”
